Formula One Confirms Abu Dhabi Grand Prix as 2026 Season Finale

Formula One has officially confirmed that the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 will take place as scheduled, with Yas Marina Circuit once again hosting the final race of the Formula One season from 3 to 6 December 2026.

The announcement was made by Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, reaffirming that the 2026 calendar remains unchanged and preparations for the season finale are progressing as planned.

Domenicali also confirmed that ticket demand remains strong, with only a limited number of tickets still available ahead of race weekend.

Preparations Well Underway

Speaking about the season finale, Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula One, said:

“The calendar is confirmed. There are still a few tickets to be sold in Abu Dhabi… and we stay focused on delivering the calendar we promised at the beginning of the year.

The preparations are on course, there are still a few tickets in Abu Dhabi to be taken, and everything is progressing very, very well.”

With Formula One reaffirming its commitment to the Abu Dhabi season finale, fans are encouraged to move ahead with travel and accommodation plans for one of the biggest sporting events on the UAE calendar.

Abu Dhabi Ready to Welcome Global Fans

Reflecting on Abu Dhabi’s long-standing partnership with Formula One, His Excellency Saood Abdulaziz Al Hosani, Undersecretary of the Department of Culture and Tourism-Abu Dhabi, said:

Alongside the racing at Yas Marina Circuit, fans can enjoy the Etihad Live After-Race Concerts, hospitality experiences, entertainment across Yas Island, world-class attractions, dining and nightlife that have made the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix one of Formula One’s most anticipated season finales.

With many returning visitors already securing their tickets, availability is now limited. Fans can also look forward to the upcoming announcement of this year’s After-Race Concert artists, along with new fan experiences set to be revealed ahead of race weekend.
