Emirati Women’s Day is all about recognising the women shaping the UAE through creativity, entrepreneurship and leadership. This year, MEI at Jumeirah Mina Al Salam is marking the occasion with Dumpling Divas, an intimate evening that brings inspiring women together for meaningful conversations, self-expression and exceptional dining.

Inspired by this year’s Emirati Women’s Day theme, “We Emerge Better and Stronger,” the event creates a welcoming space where guests can hear personal stories of resilience, ambition and creativity while connecting with like-minded women.

The evening will feature an open panel discussion with an inspiring lineup of speakers, including Noora Sharafi, founder of Honestry; Emirati artists Aysha Al Shamsi and Faeza Mohamed; Layla Hajjaj, founder of Boho Salon; and Diana Rysbaeva, Founder and CEO of SHI Hospitality Group, the group behind MEI. Together, they will share their experiences across entrepreneurship, art, beauty, hospitality and the importance of women empowering one another.

Beyond the panel discussion, guests will participate in a self-expression workshop, designed to encourage creativity and reflection before gathering around MEI’s signature dumplings and a handcrafted drink in a relaxed, intimate setting.
