WHOOP Launches Arabic App Experience Across UAE and GCC, Expanding Access to Personalised Health Insights
WHOOP, the global health and fitness wearable brand, has announced the launch of its Arabic-language app experience, making personalised sleep, recovery, fitness and health insights more accessible to Arabic-speaking users across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the wider Middle East.
The launch introduces a redesigned Arabic interface, supported by digital and outdoor advertising campaigns across the GCC, as WHOOP continues to expand its regional presence.
WHOOP App Now Available in Arabic: What’s New?
For the first time, Arabic-speaking WHOOP members can access the platform’s health and performance insights in Arabic.
The updated experience covers key WHOOP tracking features, including:
- Sleep Tracking: Insights into sleep patterns, duration and recovery needs.
- Recovery Monitoring: Personalised indicators based on physiological data to help members understand their readiness for activity.
- Strain Tracking: Measurements of daily physical exertion and exercise intensity.
- Health Insights: Data-driven guidance showing how everyday habits, stress and activity may influence overall wellbeing.
WHOOP continuously analyses members’ physiological data against their individual baselines, helping users identify patterns and make more informed lifestyle decisions.
The Arabic-language experience is intended to make these insights easier to understand and use for native Arabic speakers.

WHOOP Reports Over 75% Membership Growth Across the GCC
The Arabic launch comes as WHOOP reports membership growth of more than 75% year-over-year across the GCC.
To support this expansion, the company has been investing in regional infrastructure, retail distribution, research and community partnerships.
Key developments include:
- A dedicated WHOOP office in the UAE.
- An expanding retail distribution network across the region.
- Partnerships with UAE Team Emirates-XRG and Al Nassr Football Club.
- Collaborations with Dubai Fitness Challenge and the Doha Marathon.
- Plans to establish an international performance research and development facility in Qatar.
The planned Qatar facility will be WHOOP’s first performance research and development centre outside Boston, supporting further research into health and human performance in the region.
WHOOP and Mubadala Strengthen Their Partnership in the UAE
The Arabic-language launch also forms part of WHOOP’s strategic collaboration with Abu Dhabi-based Mubadala Investment Company.
Following Mubadala’s participation in WHOOP’s Series G funding round, the partnership focuses on strengthening the company’s regional presence and supporting innovation in preventative health and performance research.
According to WHOOP Founder and CEO Will Ahmed, the GCC has become an important growth market for the company, with continued investment planned across the Middle East and North Africa.
What the Arabic Launch Means for WHOOP Users in the Middle East
With growing interest in wearable health technology, fitness tracking and preventative wellness across the UAE and GCC, language accessibility is an important part of making health information easier to interpret.
WHOOP’s Arabic interface allows more users to engage with personalised insights related to sleep, physical activity and recovery without relying on an English-language experience.
While wearable insights can help users monitor trends and habits, they should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice or clinical diagnosis.
The launch represents another step in WHOOP’s regional expansion, combining language accessibility with continued investment in sports partnerships, health technology and performance research.
