Visit Qatar Brings Immersive Tourism Experiences and 50 Industry Partners to ATM 2026

Visit Qatar is showcasing the country’s expanding tourism offering at Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026, bringing a delegation of 50 industry partners to Dubai for one of the Middle East’s major travel and tourism gatherings.

For Visit Qatar, the exhibition provides an opportunity to introduce international travel professionals to the breadth of experiences available across the country-from cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship to major events and immersive destination experiences.

50 Qatar Tourism Partners Come Together at ATM

Visit Qatar is leading a delegation of 50 partners, including hotels and destination management companies, giving travel professionals an opportunity to connect with a broad cross-section of Qatar’s tourism industry.

The delegation is based at the dedicated Qatar Pavilion in Saeed Hall, Stand ME1520.

Spanning 650 square metres across a double-deck design, the pavilion combines business meetings and industry networking with interactive experiences intended to give visitors a taste of the destination itself.

The participation also provides Qatar’s hotels and tourism companies with a platform to establish new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships with travel trade professionals from international markets.

Step Inside Qatar Through an Immersive Room

One of the most interesting features of this year’s pavilion is its Immersive Room.

The tablet-driven, multi-sensory experience allows visitors to explore some of Qatar’s iconic destinations using a combination of visual, audio and atmospheric elements.

Rather than relying entirely on conventional destination imagery and presentations, the experience is designed to give travel professionals a more interactive introduction to what visitors can discover when travelling to Qatar.

The concept also fits naturally with ATM 2026’s wider focus on how innovation and technology are influencing the future of travel.

Discover Traditional Qatari Crafts

Technology isn’t the only focus at the pavilion.

Visit Qatar is also putting the country’s cultural heritage at the centre of its presence through live, hands-on demonstrations of traditional crafts.

Visitors can experience Arabic calligraphy, misbah making and agal making, while learning more about the cultural significance behind each tradition.

The combination of immersive technology and traditional craftsmanship reflects two sides of Qatar’s tourism proposition: a destination investing in contemporary visitor experiences while continuing to highlight its cultural identity and heritage.

Qatar Calendar Showcases What’s Coming Next

Events are another major component of Qatar’s tourism strategy, and Qatar Calendar features prominently within the ATM pavilion.

Visitors and travel-industry professionals can discover upcoming events and experiences across the country, helping tour operators and travel agencies incorporate concerts, sporting events, cultural programmes, exhibitions and seasonal experiences into future itineraries.

For travellers, Qatar’s increasingly busy calendar also means that a trip can be planned around a particular event rather than simply around traditional sightseeing.

Strengthening Qatar’s Position on the Global Tourism Map

ATM brings together tourism boards, destinations, airlines, hospitality groups, travel companies and technology providers from around the world, making it an important platform for destinations looking to strengthen their international reach.

Visit Qatar’s participation is therefore as much about industry relationships as destination promotion.

Through meetings with travel professionals and its 50 participating partners, the organisation aims to build strategic collaborations while introducing more international audiences to Qatar’s hotels, cultural experiences, events and tourism attractions.

For UAE-based travel professionals attending ATM, the pavilion also offers a convenient opportunity to explore Qatar’s latest tourism developments and meet multiple destination partners under one roof.

Visitors can find Visit Qatar at ATM 2026 in Saeed Hall, Stand ME1520, at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14-17 September 2026.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
