Gaming takes centre stage in Doha this September as Virtuocity Battle Ground (VBG) Qatar 2026 returns for its second edition with a month-long programme of competitive esports.
Running from 1 to 30 September 2026 at Virtuocity, Doha Festival City, the championship will bring together professional and aspiring gamers, content creators and gaming fans from Qatar, the wider region and beyond.
One of the biggest highlights this year is a USD 200,000 prize pool, with competitors battling across seven internationally recognised gaming titles.
Seven Games Feature at VBG Qatar 2026
Whether you follow tactical shooters, mobile esports, football or fighting games, this year’s tournament covers a broad mix of competitive gaming genres.
The seven titles confirmed for VBG Qatar 2026 are VALORANT, Fortnite, PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), EA Sports FC 26, Tekken 8 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Competitions will take place across multiple gaming platforms and progress through online qualifiers, LAN qualifiers and live Grand Finals, giving fans the opportunity to follow the action throughout September.

VBG Qatar 2026 is presented by Qatar Calendar, powered by Ooredoo Nation, with Al Kass Sports Channel serving as media partner. Qatar Esports Federation and Snoonu City join the championship as major sponsors.
