Kazakhstani Visitor Wins Studio Apartment in Dubai Through ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ Campaign
Shyngyskhan Rysbek becomes the second winner of a studio apartment as part of the citywide ‘Win Your Home in Dubai’ initiative
A holiday to Dubai has turned into a life-changing moment for one lucky visitor. Shyngyskhan Rysbek, a 33-year-old photographer from Kazakhstan, has been announced as the second winner of a brand-new studio apartment through the citywide Win Your Home in Dubai initiative.
Rysbek received the keys during a ceremony at Dubai Festival City Mall, where he travelled back to Dubai with his family after learning they had won the prize.
The competition, led jointly by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), part of the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET), and Dubai Chambers, gives shoppers the opportunity to win one of 12 Binghatti residential apartments during Dubai Summer Surprises 2026.
The winning entry came during what was meant to be the final day of the family’s holiday. After making a qualifying purchase and entering the raffle before heading to the airport, Rysbek never imagined he would be returning to Dubai just days later to collect the keys to his own apartment.
The campaign continues throughout the summer, with weekly draws taking place every Saturday until 30 August at Dubai Festival City Mall. Nine more studio apartments are still to be won, while the grand finale will see one lucky winner receive a two-bedroom Binghatti apartment.
The next weekly draws will take place on 5, 12, 19 and 26 July; and 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 August, hosted at Dubai Festival City Mall. The next nine draws will each award one studio apartment, while the final draw on 30 August will award the grand prize of a two-bedroom apartment.
Residents and visitors aged 18 and above can enter by spending AED 500 or more at any of the 1,000+ participating brands across more than 3,500 retail outlets throughout Dubai. After shopping, participants simply scan the campaign QR code available in participating stores and upload their receipt to complete their entry.
With multiple apartment prizes still up for grabs, there’s still plenty of time for shoppers to turn their next retail purchase into a chance of owning a home in Dubai.
