EXCITING things to do in Dubai this weekend: July 3-5

With school break officially kicking off this weekend, Dubai has plenty of family-friendly plans, indoor activities, live performances and relaxed dining stops to add to the calendar from July 3 to 5. From City Walk’s summer market and LEGO® activation to immersive shows at TODA, sweet café rituals and fun indoor experiences, here are a few things to check out this weekend.

ACTIVITIES

Support Local at The Ripe Market | City Walk

Following a successful run during Eid Al Adha, The Ripe Market returns to City Walk for a 12-weekend summer series, bringing together local SMEs, homegrown artisans, handmade crafts, fashion, skincare products, small-batch treats and more. Taking place on selected weekends until September, the market will run this weekend on July 4 and 5 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Courtyard in front of iStyle.

Experience the LEGO® Editions Activation | City Walk

Families and football fans can head to City Walk for an interactive sports-themed LEGO® experience, complete with skill-based challenges, creative building activities, photo opportunities with LEGO® G.O.A.T. footballer minifigures and a giant LEGO® World Cup Trophy Big Build. Running daily until July 19 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, access is available upon presenting a receipt with a minimum spend of AED 100 at any City Walk dining, retail or entertainment outlet.

Museum of Illusions | Souk Al Seef

For anyone turning a creek walk into a full afternoon plan, Museum of Illusions at Souk Al Seef adds a fun indoor stop along the way, with spinning vortex tunnels, optical illusions and interactive rooms that are just chaotic enough to fill up the camera roll. Tickets start from AED 82.

socialwithshefali

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
