Abu Dhabi Cyber Run & Ride 2027 Returns with Running, Cycling and Family Activities
Abu Dhabi is gearing up for Cyber Run & Ride Ver. 2.0 on 31 January 2027, bringing together fitness, outdoor activities and cybersecurity awareness in one major community event.
Organised by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council in collaboration with the UAE Cybersecurity Council, the second edition is expected to welcome up to 25,000 participants, making it a significant addition to Abu Dhabi’s 2027 sporting calendar.
Running and Cycling Events for Different Fitness Levels
Whether you’re a regular runner, a cycling enthusiast or simply looking to participate in an outdoor fitness activity, Cyber Run & Ride 2027 will offer several distances.
Running categories:
- 2.5 km – Short-distance run
- 5 km – Community run
- 10 km – Longer-distance challenge
- 21 km – Half marathon
Cycling category:
- 12 km cycling ride
Organisers anticipate approximately 20,000 runners and 5,000 cyclists, with participation expected from across the UAE and beyond.
Three-Day Event Village with Family Activities
Beyond the running and cycling events, Cyber Run & Ride 2027 will feature a three-day event village designed for participants, visitors and families.
The village will offer sporting activities, entertainment and interactive experiences focused on cybersecurity awareness.
The concept brings together two important aspects of modern lifestyles: staying physically active and understanding how to navigate the digital world safely.
Visitors can expect a community-focused atmosphere with activities encouraging healthy living, digital responsibility and family participation.
Combining Fitness with Cybersecurity Awareness
What makes Cyber Run & Ride different from a traditional sporting event is its focus on digital safety.
Through its partnership with the UAE Cybersecurity Council, the initiative aims to promote responsible online practices while encouraging residents to incorporate more physical activity into their everyday routines.
Following its previous edition, the event is returning with an expanded participation target and a broader programme of community activities.
