Dubai Shoppers Could Receive Free AED 250 Gift Cards This Eid Weekend

If your Eid Al Adha plans already include mall visits, beach walks, café hopping, or retail therapy around Dubai, there’s now a chance your long weekend shopping trip could come with an unexpected bonus.

Dubai Retail is celebrating Eid with the launch of its new Dubai Retail Gift Card – and to mark the occasion, lucky visitors across selected Dubai destinations could receive a complimentary AED 250 gift card throughout the holiday weekend.

Running from 27 to 30 May, the activation will take place across some of Dubai’s busiest lifestyle and shopping destinations, where Dubai Retail’s roaming “Gift Card Concierge” will be handing out gift boxes containing complimentary gift cards to visitors throughout the day.

The newly launched Dubai Retail Gift Card can be used across more than 40 malls and destinations and over 5,000 stores across the city, covering everything from fashion and beauty to dining, entertainment, and everyday shopping.

In other words, it’s less about being locked into one retailer and more about giving shoppers the flexibility to spend wherever they actually want.

With Eid Al Adha expected to bring heavy footfall across Dubai’s retail and leisure hubs, the activation feels designed to add a little spontaneity to the city’s long-weekend shopping culture.

And honestly, there are worse things than unexpectedly walking away from a mall with AED 250 to spend.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
