Beautyworld Dubai 2026: 47 French Beauty Brands Bring Perfumery, Skincare and Innovation to Dubai

French beauty is heading back to Dubai this October, with 47 French companies preparing to showcase everything from niche fragrances and skincare to ingredients, formulation and packaging at Beautyworld Middle East 2026.

Taking place from 6 to 8 October 2026, this year’s event will also mark Beautyworld’s 30th anniversary, while the French Pavilion will introduce a new concept particularly suited to the region’s love of fragrance: “The French Art of Scent.”

Organised by Business France, the dedicated showcase will bring together ten French perfume houses, offering visitors and industry professionals a closer look at contemporary French niche perfumery.

47 French Beauty Companies Head to Dubai

France’s 2026 delegation spans the wider beauty industry, with companies specialising in ingredients, formulation, skincare, cosmetics, packaging and fragrance.

Of the 47 exhibitors, 18 will be participating for the first time, while Grasse Expertise returns for a third consecutive year with six companies.

Regional delegations from Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Hauts-de-France and Normandy will also participate.

The scale of the French presence reflects the growing importance of the Gulf for international beauty companies, particularly across premium fragrance, skincare, wellness and more differentiated beauty concepts.

For emerging brands in particular, Dubai offers access not only to UAE consumers but also to buyers and distributors working across the wider Middle East.

The French Art of Scent Makes Its Debut

One of the more interesting additions this year is The French Art of Scent, a new showcase dedicated entirely to finished fragrances.

Created by Business France, the concept brings together 10 French perfume houses, combining France’s established perfumery heritage with newer independent and niche brands looking towards international markets.

The participating houses are:

  • Galbee Paris: French niche fragrance house inspired by Parisian elegance.
  • Parfums MDCI: Luxury fragrance house combining artistic heritage and fine perfumery.
  • Famille Grasse Parfums: Fragrance creator rooted in the perfume-making tradition of Grasse.
  • Maison Berliner : Independent perfume house offering contemporary fragrance creations.
  • LOP: French fragrance brand focused on original and accessible perfume collections.
  • Mozaika: Perfume house developing modern fragrances with distinctive olfactory signatures.
  • Zenith Parfums Paris: French fragrance company creating perfumes for international markets.
  • Maison Minalys: Niche perfume brand combining French craftsmanship and creative perfumery.
  • YSB: French fragrance house offering premium perfumes inspired by French savoir-faire.
  • Empreinte d’effluves : A French fragrance house crafting distinctive perfumes inspired by emotion, travel and the art of fine perfumery.

For fragrance lovers, the showcase offers an opportunity to look beyond internationally established perfume labels and discover smaller French houses with their own distinctive olfactory identities.

For buyers and distributors, meanwhile, it provides a more focused way to discover brands that could potentially enter or expand within Gulf markets.

Why the Gulf Matters to the Global Fragrance Industry

Fragrance occupies a particularly important position within beauty culture across the Gulf, where perfume, oud and scent layering are already deeply embedded in everyday life.

That makes the region an interesting market for French perfume houses, particularly those specialising in premium compositions, niche perfumery and distinctive fragrance identities.

The opportunity extends beyond perfume. The UAE’s position as a regional retail and business hub gives international companies a base from which to explore distribution opportunities across the Middle East.

Jean-Philippe Arvert, Director of Business France Near & Middle East, described the Gulf as a strategic market for the global beauty industry, pointing to demand for new brands, premium fragrances and distinctive beauty concepts.

Business France’s involvement is therefore designed to go beyond exhibition visibility, helping participating companies meet buyers and distributors and explore longer-term opportunities in the region.

Beautyworld Dubai Turns 30

The arrival of The French Art of Scent also coincides with a milestone year for Beautyworld, as the exhibition celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026.

For visitors working within beauty, fragrance and retail, the French Pavilion will offer a snapshot of how the country’s beauty industry is evolving-from the traditional perfume-making heritage associated with Grasse to emerging fragrance houses and companies working across modern skincare, formulations and packaging.

Participating French companies can also be explored through the Business France Marketplace, allowing buyers to discover products and potential suppliers before, during and after the exhibition.

Beautyworld Dubai 2026 takes place from 6-8 October 2026, with the French Pavilion bringing together 47 companies and the debut edition of The French Art of Scent.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
