Dubai Summer Surprises 2026 Kicks Off This Weekend with Shopping Deals, Live Concerts and Family Entertainment
Don’t miss the 12-Hour Sale across Majid Al Futtaim Malls, free live music performances at Dubai Hills Mall and City Centre Mirdif and shows at popular attractions across Dubai from 2 to 5 July.
The wait is over. Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2026 officially begins this weekend, launching 60 days of shopping, entertainment and city-wide experiences from 2 July to 30 August.
To mark the opening of its 29th edition, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has unveiled a packed programme of retail promotions, live concerts, family shows and prize draws taking place across Dubai from 2 to 5 July.
Here’s what to look out for during the opening weekend.
Shop the 12-Hour Sale
Start DSS with one of the year’s biggest shopping events as participating brands offer up to 90% off during the 12-Hour Sale on 2 July, from 10am to 10pm.
The promotion takes place at:
- Mall of the Emirates
- City Centre Mirdif
- City Centre Deira
- City Centre Me’aisem
- City Centre Al Shindagha
- My City Centre Al Barsha
Shoppers who spend AED 300 or more at participating outlets in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif and City Centre Deira will also have the opportunity to become a 12 Hour Sale SHARE Millionaire.
Gold & Jewellery Flash Sale Debuts
Running from 3 to 5 July, the new Gold & Jewellery Flash Sale Weekend brings exclusive promotions on gold, diamonds, watches, pearls and luxury accessories across participating retailers.
Brands taking part include Damas, Pandora, Jawhara Jewellery, Zen Diamond, Al Futtaim Watches & Jewellery and several others.
Win a Home in Dubai
The fourth Win Your Home in Dubai live draw takes place on 5 July at Dubai Festival City Mall from 5pm.
Shoppers who spend AED 500 or more throughout the campaign can enter for the chance to win one of 11 Binghatti studio apartments, with a two-bedroom apartment awarded as the grand prize later in the campaign.

The opening weekend also features several ticketed performances across the city, including:

Walk to Unlock at Ibn Battuta Mall
Fitness enthusiasts can also join the Walk to Unlock experience at Ibn Battuta Mall on 5 July, where participants can complete walking milestones while enjoying the mall’s indoor route and unlocking exclusive rewards through the FITZE app.
