Dubai Exhibition Season: Deira Hotels Launch Stays from AED 135 for Business Travellers

Dubai’s busy exhibition calendar is bringing thousands of delegates, exhibitors and industry professionals back to the city, and a collection of hotels in Deira is targeting business traveller’s with stays starting from just AED 135 per night.

The Dubai Gold District and Dubai Deira Cluster of Hotels, managed by Valor Hospitality Partners, has introduced a UAE Staycation Offer across six properties, providing an alternative base for guests attending major exhibitions at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).

Located close to Gold Souq Metro Station, the hotels give visitors access to Dubai’s public transport network, making it possible to reach the exhibition district without relying solely on taxis or navigating peak exhibition-day road traffic.

Six Deira Hotels Included in the Offer

The promotion spans six hotels at different price points, giving solo business travellers, exhibitors and longer-stay delegates several accommodation formats to consider.

Participating properties include Novotel Dubai Gold District, Mercure Dubai Deira, Mercure Dubai Gold District, ibis Styles Dubai Deira, ibis Styles Dubai Gold District and Aparthotel Adagio Dubai Gold District.

While the ibis Styles properties provide a more practical option for shorter business trips, the collection also includes apartment-style accommodation for delegates spending several days in Dubai.

Rates under the UAE Staycation Offer start from AED 135 per night, subject to the applicable property and booking conditions.

Timed Around Dubai’s Biggest Trade Shows

The offer has been introduced around some of Dubai’s major exhibitions and conferences, including DIHAD, DUPHAT, Middle East Energy, Dubai Derma, Arabian Travel Market, Beautyworld Middle East, ARABLAB LIVE, Gulfood Manufacturing and Big 5 Global.

For professionals travelling specifically for these events, choosing accommodation close to a Metro station can make a significant difference to the daily schedule-particularly during large exhibitions when thousands of attendees are travelling to and from DWTC at similar times.

The hotels are also within convenient reach of Dubai International Airport, making Deira a practical base for international delegates arriving for shorter trips.

Business-Friendly Facilities Between Exhibition Days

Each participating property provides facilities aimed at travellers who may need to continue working outside exhibition hours.

These include high-speed Wi-Fi, in-room workspaces, charging points and USB ports, while selected hotels have additional meeting areas and shared spaces suitable for taking calls, catching up on emails or meeting colleagues.

Guests staying at selected properties can also access swimming pools, fitness centres and wellness facilities, providing an opportunity to recharge after a long day of meetings and networking.

Rooftop pools at selected hotels offer views towards Dubai’s skyline, Deira Creek and the Arabian Gulf.

Dining Without Travelling Far

Business trips often leave little time for searching for somewhere to eat after a full day at an exhibition.

Across the hotel cluster, guests have access to a selection of restaurants and casual venues covering international and Mediterranean cuisine, cafés, rooftop lounges and sports bars.

The variety also creates convenient settings for informal business dinners, post-event conversations or simply unwinding with colleagues without adding another journey to the day.

Extend the Business Trip and Explore Old Dubai

Staying in Deira also places visitors close to a very different side of Dubai from the exhibition halls and business districts.

The Dubai Gold Souk, Spice Souk and Deira Creek are nearby, giving delegates the option of adding some sightseeing to their schedule.

Visitors can take a traditional abra across Dubai Creek and continue towards Al Seef and Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood, making it relatively easy to turn a work trip into a short bleisure stay.

For international delegates with an additional evening or day available before flying home, the location provides access to some of Dubai’s most established cultural and heritage districts without travelling far from their hotel.
