More Than 500 Jewellery and Watch Brands in Doha

Organised by Qatar Tourism, brought to audiences by Visit Qatar and officially sponsored by QNB Group, DJWE has grown into an important meeting point for international jewellery and watch houses, designers, collectors and luxury enthusiasts.

Alongside international exhibitors, the 2026 edition featured dedicated Qatari Designers, Turkish and Indian Pavilions, bringing regional craftsmanship and emerging design talent into the wider international showcase.

Over its 22 editions, DJWE has developed as both a B2B and B2C event, creating a platform where visitors can discover luxury collections while designers and brands connect with industry professionals and new markets.

DJWE Studio Introduced for 2026

One of the new additions this year was the DJWE Studio, which expanded the exhibition beyond its traditional showcase format.

Around 350 participants joined its programme of workshops, panel discussions and masterclasses during the six-day event.

Christie’s led sessions exploring jewellery and watch markets, collecting behaviours and design trends. Visitors could also join guided jewellery and watch tours.

A Mentorship Moment connected emerging designers with established industry leaders, while a two-day certificate course explored 150 years of art and the relationship between art, jewellery and watches during the 20th century.

Supporting Qatar’s Emerging Designers

Supporting local creative talent was another focus of the programme.

Qatar Development Bank, through Scale7, delivered a five-part entrepreneurship series aimed at Qatar’s design community.

Visit Qatar also partnered with the Picasso Institute for influencer talks and a jewellery masterclass programme.

Together, these initiatives positioned the exhibition as more than a place to view and purchase luxury pieces, adding education, entrepreneurship and professional development to the experience.

David Webb Collaboration Supports Education Above All

DJWE 2026 also saw jewellery being used to support a wider social cause.

The Education Above All Foundation (EAA) announced a two-year collaboration with New York jewellery house David Webb, combining design and craftsmanship with philanthropy.

The partnership includes a limited-edition David Webb collection featuring the house’s recognisable Nail and Oval Link designs reimagined in rose gold, with inspiration drawn from Qatar’s desert landscapes and sunset colours.

Proceeds will support EAA Foundation’s work with buildOn through the Enroll Out of School Children Project: Break the Cycle of Poverty, which aims to expand access to primary education for children currently outside the school system.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
