Abu Dhabi Launches Free UAE Visa Offer for Indian Tourists Booking Eligible Holidays
Planning an Abu Dhabi holiday just became more affordable for Indian travellers. In a new tourism initiative, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) is offering complimentary UAE entry visas to eligible Indian passport holders who book qualifying Abu Dhabi holiday packages. The initiative aims to encourage more visitors from one of the emirate’s largest tourism markets.
Running from 1 August to 31 October 2026, the pilot programme will initially cover up to 20,000 visas, reducing the upfront travel cost for eligible visitors while making it easier to explore the UAE capital.
Who Is Eligible?
To qualify for the free UAE entry visa, travellers must:
- Hold an Indian passport
- Travel from India
- Book an Abu Dhabi holiday package through a participating travel partner or online travel agency
- Include a minimum stay of three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel
- Book a return flight from India as part of the package
For eligible bookings, DCT Abu Dhabi covers the UAE entry visa fee, which is normally around AED 285 per traveller.

The initiative forms part of Abu Dhabi’s wider strategy to attract more international visitors by reducing travel barriers and encouraging longer stays.
