The Plaza Season at Uptown Dubai Brings Free Outdoor Cinema, Fitness and Community Events
Dubai’s outdoor season is returning, and there’s a new spot to add to your cooler-weather calendar. The Plaza at Uptown Dubai has launched The Plaza Season, bringing a year-round programme of open-air cinema, fitness sessions, markets and community events to the neighbourhood.
Spread across 21,000 square metres at the heart of Uptown Dubai, the outdoor venue is designed as an easy-going community space where you can join a workout, catch a movie under the stars or simply meet up with friends.
And one of the best parts? Many of the community experiences are free to attend.
Free Outdoor Events at Uptown Dubai
The Plaza Season is less about one big event and more about creating a regular calendar of things to do throughout the week.
Programming includes outdoor movie nights, Zumba, line dancing, fitness sessions, boot camps, markets and community meet-ups, with more experiences expected to be announced as Dubai moves into the cooler months.
The season has already started with Zumba Factory Club, a free outdoor session that attracted around 400 participants, accompanied by food and beverage pop-ups.
The Plaza itself is operated by 7 Management and has been designed to accommodate everything from smaller weekly activities to larger festivals and events.
Outdoor Cinema Starts This October
If outdoor cinema is your kind of Dubai winter plan, Film Society arrives at The Plaza from 2 October.
