Ski Dubai’s Ice Warrior Challenge Returns This September
If you’ve ever wanted to test your strength, endurance and resilience in sub-zero temperatures, now’s your chance. Ski Dubai, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council, has announced the return of the Ice Warrior Challenge for its 17th edition, taking place on Sunday, 20 September 2026.
Set inside the World’s Best Indoor Ski Resort, the annual event transforms Ski Dubai into a thrilling obstacle course where participants of all fitness levels come together to push their limits in a unique -4°C snowy environment.
More Than 20 Obstacles Await
The Ice Warrior Challenge features more than 20 snow-filled obstacles, including rope walls, monkey bars, tyre runs, net crawls and icy plunge zones, all designed to test strength, determination and teamwork.
Whether you’re aiming for a personal best, taking on the challenge with colleagues or simply looking for a fun fitness experience, the course welcomes everyone from seasoned athletes to first-time participants.
Following last year’s event, which attracted more than 560 participants representing 69 nationalities, the challenge continues to celebrate Dubai’s diverse and active community.
Choose Your Challenge
Open to participants aged 15 to 60, the event offers three categories:
- Elite – For experienced competitors targeting a finish time under 25 minutes. Early Bird: AED 250 , Regular: AED 280
- Individual – Suitable for all fitness levels. Early Bird: AED 200, Regular: AED 250
- Teams – Groups of 4-6 participants. Early Bird: AED 185 per person , Regular: AED 200 per person
Early Bird prices are available until 15 August, while registration remains open until 18 September through Premier Online.
Cheer From the Snow
New for this year’s event is the Spectator Pass, allowing family and friends to experience the action from inside Ski Dubai’s snowy venue.
Priced at AED 50, the pass includes access to a dedicated viewing area and a complimentary hot beverage, making it easy to support participants while enjoying the unique winter setting.
Every finisher will also receive an Ice Warrior medal and commemorative T-shirt, celebrating not just completing the course, but embracing the challenge itself.
