Marks & Spencer is bringing a major new food shopping destination to Dubai this December 2026. Al-Futtaim has announced the opening of the largest M&S Foodhall outside the UK at Dubai Festival City, featuring over 4,000 products, the Middle East’s first M&S Patisserie, fresh flowers, sushi, a pizza oven and several new food experiences.
Spanning 15,327 square feet, the flagship store will introduce the full M&S Food range outside the UK for the first time, offering everything from fresh groceries and everyday essentials to ready-made meals and speciality food counters.
Over 4,000 Products Under One Roof
The new M&S Foodhall is designed to offer customers a complete weekly grocery shopping experience.
Shoppers will be able to explore:
- 3,500+ core M&S products, including familiar British favourites and everyday groceries.
- 500 locally sourced products, selected specifically for the UAE market.
- Fresh fruits, vegetables and other produce.
- Meat, protein and grocery essentials.
- Bakery products, ready-to-eat meals and convenient meal solutions.
The range will bring together products from more than 200 UK suppliers alongside carefully selected local suppliers.
For UAE residents who already enjoy shopping for M&S Food favourites, the expanded selection will offer more variety in a single location.
7 Food Experiences to Look Forward to at the New M&S Foodhall
Beyond traditional grocery shopping, the Dubai Festival City flagship will introduce several new concepts designed around food discovery and convenience.
1. Middle East’s First M&S Patisserie
The store will introduce the first M&S Patisserie in the Middle East, adding a dedicated destination for patisserie products to the shopping experience.
2. Fresh M&S Flowers
For the first time internationally, M&S will introduce its fresh flower offering outside the UK, giving shoppers another option for gifting and everyday floral purchases.
3. Fruit Butcher
A dedicated Fruit Butcher concept will bring a new approach to preparing and presenting fresh fruit in-store.

A pizza oven will be part of the store’s food experience, expanding the range of freshly prepared meal options.

Visitors will also find a coffee shop and additional hospitality concepts that M&S has not previously introduced.
These new experiences aim to make the Foodhall more than a traditional supermarket, encouraging customers to explore different food counters while completing their grocery shopping.
A New Chapter for Marks & Spencer in the UAE
The opening marks another milestone in the partnership between Al-Futtaim and Marks & Spencer, which began in 1997.
Over nearly three decades, Al-Futtaim has supported the growth of M&S across the region through its retail operations, local market knowledge and supply-chain capabilities.
The Dubai Festival City flagship represents an expansion of the brand’s food retail offering, with a larger product selection and new in-store experiences developed for UAE customers.
Wassim Arabi, President of Retail at Al-Futtaim, described the opening as an important milestone in the partnership, highlighting the combination of M&S product quality and Al-Futtaim’s understanding of local shoppers.
The new store is also intended to provide a model for future growth of M&S Food in the region.
