Dubai Fashion Week Announces Spring/Summer 2027 Dates for October 2026

Dubai’s biggest fashion showcase is returning this October. Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) has officially announced the dates for its Spring/Summer 2027 edition, which will take place at Dubai Design District (d3) from 22 to 26 October 2026.

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group, and the Arab Fashion Council, the five-day event will bring together designers, buyers, retailers, media and other fashion industry stakeholders for its latest season.

Alongside established regional talent, DFW SS27 will continue its focus on providing emerging designers with opportunities to present their work to an international fashion audience.

Dubai Fashion Week SS27 Returns to d3

The upcoming edition will feature a curated programme of designer showcases, putting regional creativity in the spotlight while connecting participating labels with the wider global fashion industry.

The full SS27 designer lineup has yet to be announced, but the programme is expected to bring together designers alongside influential buyers and other industry figures.

Beyond the runway, Dubai Fashion Week is increasingly positioned as a platform for the business behind fashion, with networking and commercial opportunities forming an important part of the programme.

Buyers Programme Connects Designers with Retailers

The Dubai Fashion Week Buyers Programme will return for SS27, giving participating retailers an opportunity to discover upcoming collections away from the runway.

Buyers will be able to explore collections through showroom appointments and designer previews, while connecting directly with designers.

The programme is intended to help facilitate potential commercial partnerships and build longer-term relationships between brands and retailers-giving participating designers opportunities that extend beyond the visibility generated by a fashion show.

Networking opportunities will also bring together designers, buyers, established retailers and members of the media throughout the October edition.

Designer Applications for Dubai Fashion Week Are Now Open

Designers interested in joining the Spring/Summer 2027 edition can now submit their applications.

All applications will be assessed by the Dubai Fashion Week Selection Committee, which will determine the final curated lineup for the season.

The selection process is designed to create a programme reflecting the evolving fashion landscape of the region while continuing to provide a global platform for emerging creative talent.

Designers interested in applying can find further information through the official Dubai Fashion Week website.

Dubai’s Fashion Calendar Looks Ahead to SS27

Taking place from 22 – 26 October, the SS27 edition will once again put Dubai Design District at the centre of the city’s fashion scene for five days.

While further details – including the participating designers, runway schedule and accompanying programme – are still to be revealed, the announcement gives fashion enthusiasts and industry professionals the first dates to add to their October calendars.

For Dubai, the new season also continues the development of a homegrown fashion platform designed to connect regional creative talent with buyers, retailers, media and the international industry.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
