September is shaping up to be a busy month in Qatar, with Qatar Calendar bringing together everything from international concerts and comedy shows to major sporting tournaments, cultural exhibitions, family experiences and business events.

Entertainment and Family Events in Qatar
Families can continue exploring the ColorVerse Experience at Katara South Parking until 15 September, where children are invited into an interactive adventure to help save the colours from the Munchers.
Gaming takes centre stage throughout the month with Virtuocity Battleground 2026, running at Virtuocity in Doha Festival City from 1 to 30 September. The event brings together competitive gaming and challenges for esports enthusiasts.
From 9 September to 17 October, Fuwairit Break heads to Fuwairit Kite Beach with a programme of family-friendly activities in a beachside setting.
For something a little more theatrical, The Jury Experience arrives at U Venue from 18 September to 23 October. The immersive experience puts the audience in the position of a jury, asking participants to consider the evidence before deciding their verdict.
Later in the month, Mena W Fena opens at AlHazm Outdoor Area from 24 September to 24 October, showcasing distinctive Qatari products and providing another destination for shoppers.
Major Sporting Events This September
September also has plenty in store for sports enthusiasts.
The Beat the Heat summer fitness and race series continues at various locations until 11 September, while Qatar Foundation welcomes the FISU World University Championship Weightlifting 2026 from 8 to 12 September.
At Aspire Ladies Sports Hall, the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026 will take place from 10 to 14 September, bringing male and female athletes together for a multi-day fitness championship.
International squash returns to the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex with the QTerminals Qatar Classic Squash 2026, running from 12 to 18 September.
The venue will later welcome younger tennis talent for The 1st Qatar Asian Junior Tournament 14 & Under, scheduled from 28 September to 3 October.
Exhibitions and Cultural Experiences
Culture and exhibitions form another major part of September’s calendar.
The Qatar Event Show 2026 will be held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 1 to 3 September, while the Doha Trade Fair continues at the venue until 5 September.
From 3 September to 28 November, the Museum of Islamic Art will host Uzbekistan: Heritage in Motion and the Ektashif Uzbekistan Exhibition, providing visitors with an opportunity to discover different aspects of Uzbekistan’s artistic and cultural heritage.
One of the month’s major heritage events also returns to Katara Cultural Village. The tenth edition of S’hail – Katara International Hunting and Falconry Exhibition will run from 8 to 12 September, bringing the region’s hunting and falconry traditions into focus.
John Legend, Live Music and Comedy in Doha
September’s entertainment calendar includes several notable names.
John Legend will perform at the Qatar National Convention Center, Halls 3 and 4, on 10 September. On the same evening, comedian Saleh El Nawawy brings his stand-up special Ghaibooba to Abdulaziz Nasser Theater in Souq Waqif.
Comedy continues with Taha Desouky at Al Mayassa Theater, Qatar National Convention Center, on 17 September, followed by John Achkar’s Feena Nehke? at Abdulaziz Nasser Theater on 25 September.
Classic rock fans can also catch Pink Floyd Legacy Live at Doha at the Qatar National Convention Center on 25 September.
For classical music enthusiasts, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra presents Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 on 14 September, followed by Qatar-Mexico Year of Culture: Sounds of Mexico on 18 September, both at Qatar National Convention Centre.
The BilAraby Annual Gathering 2026 will also take place at Multaqa – Education City Students Center from 19 to 20 September.
Business, Technology and Fintech Events
Qatar’s September calendar isn’t limited to leisure and entertainment.
The Autonomous e-Mobility Forum 2026 takes place at Qatar National Convention Centre from 7 to 9 September, bringing attention to developments in autonomous transportation and mobility.
On 22 September, the venue will host the Google Cloud Summit Doha 2026 in Halls 8 and 9.
Fintech professionals can look ahead to the Qatar Fintech Expo 2026, scheduled for 29 and 30 September at Hilton Doha Hotel.
Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition Returns
September ends with two events catering to visitors interested in jewellery, design and luxury shopping.
The Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition 2026 will take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from 28 September to 3 October, while The 9th Edition of Zinatha Exhibition opens at AlHazm Galleria on 30 Septemberand continues until 7 October.
