Blue Tokai Brings Three Days of Specialty Coffee Experiences to Dubai
Coffee lovers in Dubai have something new to look forward to this August. Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters is hosting a three-day programme of specialty coffee experiences at its BurJuman Mall café, inviting coffee enthusiasts, home brewers and baristas to discover the craft, culture and flavours behind Indian specialty coffee.
Taking place from 17 to 19 August, the series features interactive events ranging from latte art competitions to guided coffee tastings led by industry experts.
Latte Art Takes Centre Stage
The programme begins on 17 August with a Latte Art Throwdown, where baristas will compete head-to-head to showcase their creativity and precision under pressure.
Participants will battle for a share of AED 3,000 in cash prizes, making it an exciting event for both competitors and coffee fans.
An Omakase-Inspired Coffee Journey
On 18 August, visitors can experience a unique tasting session hosted by Indian Barista Champion Suhas Dwarkanath.
Inspired by the Japanese omakase concept, the intimate coffee experience will guide guests through a carefully curated selection of Indian specialty coffees while exploring the stories behind the producers, roasting techniques and flavour profiles that make each cup unique.

The three-day programme concludes on 19 August with Indian Coffee Cupping & Stories from Indian Estates.
The guided tasting session will introduce participants to the diversity of Indian specialty coffee through different aromas, flavour notes and processing methods, while highlighting the estates, producers and regions behind every coffee served.
