Harry Potter Film Concert Series Returns to Abu Dhabi with Two Magical Live-to-Film Performances
Wizarding World fans have another reason to plan a trip to Abu Dhabi next year. The Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series is returning to the capital with a special double-feature live concert experience, giving audiences the chance to watch Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ accompanied by a live orchestra over two consecutive nights.
Taking place on 5 and 6 February 2027, the concerts mark the first time these two films have been presented together in the UAE as part of the official Harry Potter™ Film Concert Series. Following the success of the series’ Abu Dhabi debut in 2025, the new edition promises an even more immersive experience for fans of all ages.
Each evening, the full film will be screened in high definition on a 40-foot screen, while the UAE National Orchestra performs the complete score live in perfect synchronisation with every scene. The result is a cinematic experience that blends the magic of the films with the power of a live symphony orchestra.
The two films also represent a turning point in the Harry Potter story. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban™ follows Harry, Ron and Hermione as they return to Hogwarts to uncover the mystery surrounding the escaped prisoner Sirius Black while facing Dementors and long-hidden secrets. The film’s iconic score by John Williams, nominated for an Academy Award®, remains one of the most celebrated soundtracks in the franchise.
The following evening, audiences can experience Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™, where Harry unexpectedly finds himself competing in the dangerous Triwizard Tournament. From dragons and underwater challenges to the return of darker forces, the fourth film introduces a more mature chapter of the Wizarding World, brought to life through Patrick Doyle’s award-winning orchestral score.
