Visit Qatar Brings The Garden Souq to Singapore for Race Week 2026

Visit Qatar Brings The Garden Souq to Singapore for Race Week 2026

Qatari culture is heading to Singapore this race week with a free experience combining traditional food, Arabic coffee, music, craftsmanship and perfume-making.

From 7 to 9 October 2026, Visit Qatar will transform the lawn of Raffles Hotel Singapore into The Garden Souq by Visit Qatar, giving residents and international visitors an opportunity to experience different elements of Qatar’s culture in the heart of Singapore.

The open-air activation is part of Visit Qatar’s partnership with Audi Revolut F1® Team and will be free to attend with prior registration.

Step Inside a Contemporary Qatari Souq

The Garden Souq takes inspiration from Qatar’s traditional souqs but reimagines the experience through a series of interactive stations.

Rather than simply displaying elements of Qatari culture, visitors will be able to taste, create and personalise their way through the experience.

At The Majlis, guests can experience one of the region’s most recognisable traditions with Arabic coffee and dates accompanied by a live oud performance.

Meanwhile, Flavours of Qatar will introduce visitors to Qatari cuisine and some of the flavours associated with the destination.

Create Your Own Qatar-Inspired Souvenirs

There are several hands-on experiences incorporated into the activation.

At The Artisan’s Workshop, visitors can personalise a leather charm, while The Doha Stamp lets guests customise a cap using Qatar-inspired patches.

For something more sensory, Scents of Qatar gives visitors the chance to create their own bespoke perfume blend – connecting the experience with the region’s long relationship with fragrance and perfumery.

Together, the stations offer a more contemporary and interactive introduction to Qatar than a traditional tourism showcase.

Qatar Takes Its Culture to an International Race-Week Audience

The Singapore activation is also part of Visit Qatar’s wider approach to using international sporting partnerships to introduce the destination to new audiences.

Race week brings together visitors from around the world, creating an opportunity to showcase Qatar beyond its hotels and attractions through its food, hospitality, craftsmanship, music and cultural traditions.

Its partnership with Audi Revolut F1® Team provides another international platform for Qatar to connect its tourism identity with major global sporting events.

For anyone in Singapore during race week, The Garden Souq also provides a free cultural experience away from the track – and a small taste of Qatar without leaving the city.

Social With Shefali is where I open up about the things that inspire me, the practices that keep me grounded, and the experiences that make life feel a little more beautiful. I’m not here to be perfect, polished, or performative. I’m here to be real. To remind myself (and maybe you too) that balance, joy, and chosen connections are worth making space for.
