Abu Dhabi Awards Brings “Goodness Is a Living Heritage” to ADIHEX 2026
The Abu Dhabi Awards is participating in the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2026, bringing a programme of community conversations and cultural experiences to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi from 28 August to 6 September 2026.
Held under the theme “Goodness Is a Living Heritage,” the participation will explore how Emirati traditions, values and community spirit continue to be carried forward through individuals and families across generations.
Seven Meylas Sessions at ADIHEX 2026
Throughout the exhibition, Abu Dhabi Awards will host seven Meylas sessions, including an interactive Emirati crafts workshop. The sessions will bring together previous Awards recipients, guests and members of the community to exchange stories and perspectives around Emirati culture and positive community impact.
The programme will focus on five key themes: Living Emirati Traditions and Values, Preserving Heritage, Education and Youth, Humanitarian Giving, and Community Builders.
Through personal experiences and conversations, the sessions will also explore how the Abu Dhabi Awards values of Goodness, Commitment, Inspiration, Giving and Selflessness can be translated into everyday actions that make a meaningful difference.
Celebrating Family and Emirati Heritage
In line with the Year of the Family, the programme will place particular emphasis on the role families play in passing traditions, knowledge and values from one generation to another.
From preserving customs to sharing cultural knowledge, these connections help ensure that Emirati heritage remains an active part of contemporary life rather than simply something remembered from the past.
Amal Al Ameri, Member of the Abu Dhabi Awards Organising Committee, explained that the theme reflects the belief that the Awards’ values are continually renewed through the contributions of people within the community.
She also highlighted ADIHEX as an important cultural and social platform for connecting Awards recipients with the wider community and encouraging more people to contribute through volunteering, community initiatives and everyday acts of giving.

Visitors to ADIHEX 2026 can find the Abu Dhabi Awards pavilion in Hall 5, Stand 5-090 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi.
Alongside attending the Meylas sessions and hearing directly from Awards recipients, visitors can learn more about the initiative and nominate individuals whose contributions have positively impacted their communities.
