Dubai’s Longevium to Open AI Research Lab Focused on Extending Healthy Lifespans

Dubai is continuing to strengthen its position as a global hub for healthcare innovation, with another milestone in the field of longevity medicine. Longevium, a Dubai-based longevity clinic network, has announced plans to open a dedicated Longevity AI Research Laboratory at Dubai Science Park, bringing together artificial intelligence, biomedical research and preventive healthcare under one roof.

Scheduled to open in Q4 2026, the new research facility follows the successful close of Longevium’s first investment round, which raised US$7 million to accelerate the development of next-generation longevity technologies, AI-powered diagnostics and clinical research programmes.

A Research Hub for the Future of Preventive Healthcare

Unlike a traditional clinic, the new facility will function as a dedicated research and development centre focused on advancing technologies that can predict health risks, measure biological ageing and help extend healthy lifespans.

The project also supports Dubai’s long-term vision of becoming a global leader in longevity medicine and aligns with the objectives of the Dubai Longevity Authority, reinforcing the emirate’s growing role in healthcare innovation.

AI Meets Longevity Medicine

Building on technologies already used across Longevium’s three Dubai clinics, the new lab will explore a range of AI-driven innovations designed to personalise healthcare and improve long-term wellbeing.

Key areas of research will include:

• Digital Twins that allow physicians to simulate personalised treatment plans before clinical use.
• Biological Age Assessment using AI models built from laboratory biomarkers, body composition analysis, ultrasound imaging and wearable health data.
• Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering focused on restoring organ function through advanced cell therapies.
• Robotic Diagnostics and Smart Wearables, including AI-powered skin scanners, swallowable gastrointestinal imaging capsules and smart contact lenses capable of monitoring health through tear fluid.
• Noble Gas Therapy, investigating the therapeutic potential of gases such as xenon, alongside ongoing research into argon, helium and krypton for future medical applications.

The goal is to develop one of the region’s most comprehensive AI-powered biological age platforms while expanding the role of preventive medicine in everyday healthcare.

Building on an Established Clinical Network

The new research lab will complement Longevium’s existing network of clinics located in Jumeirah 3, Jumeirah Lake Towers and Jumeirah Village Circle.

Supported by nearly 100 physicians and healthcare specialists, the clinics have already treated more than 30,000 patients, creating a strong foundation for clinical research, longitudinal health data collection and the development of personalised longevity solutions.
